OnPoint Technologies, Inc. Expands Team

MAITLAND, FL, March 5, 2004 – OnPoint Technologies, Inc. (OnPoint) announced that it has named David Odom as an associate. In this role, Mr. Odom will analyze investment opportunities across all segments of the mobile power and energy sector including advanced batteries, fuel cells, renewables, and electronics. Additionally, Mr. Odom will work closely with key Army representatives to identify and analyze soldier power needs and facilitate transition of portfolio companies’ technology into the Army.

Prior to joining OnPoint, Mr. Odom carried out roles in research and development, product management and business development for both early stage ventures and fortune 500 corporations over the last twelve years. Previously, as a product manager for MILCOM Technologies, Inc. his duties included analysis and development of business models, technology, and market opportunities across IT, communications, and security segments for new ventures. Separately, Mr. Odom has functioned as a product marketing manager and strategic advisor in early stage ventures including a wireless LAN OEM and an international wireless data communication service provider. Mr. Odom also brings extensive experience with the DoD community through roles at Loral Aerospace and Lockheed Martin leading development of mission critical systems for Air Force and Space Shuttle programs.

Mr. Odom graduated from Texas A&M University at Kingsville, Summa Cum Laude, with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and earned an MBA from Rollins College, Summa Cum Laude, where he was selected for the Professional Scholarship Award upon achieving the highest ranking in his graduating class.
